About Anika Pillatzke, Accounting Manager
As Cline & Associates’ Accounting Manager, Anika handles both individual and business tax preparation, payroll, tax projections and IRS correspondence. Anika also has experience setting up a non-profit from the ground up, including applying for and being granted the 501(c) 3 designation from the IRS. Anika enjoys tackling complicated projects and loves coming to work each day knowing no two days are the same.
Anika earned her undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University in 2001. Upon graduation, she moved to the Boulder area, and worked in the biotech industry, as well as in water & wastewater treatment for a local municipality. Not finding the sort of career fulfillment she had set out from North Dakota to find, Anika returned to school, and in 2008 received a Master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado. On graduation day she interviewed at Cline & Associates, and, as they say, the rest is history.
Outside of the office, and the principle reason for the move to Colorado, Anika and her husband Nathan like to ski, hike, backpack and bike. She also enjoys swimming, baking, and watching the wildlife from her kitchen window.
