About Sara Wallden, CPA Candidate
As a CPA candidate, Sara is looking forward to learning more about accounting and the tax system. Prior to joining the firm, Sara did a busy-season accounting internship at EKS&H. There, she learned how to use QuickBooks, prepare fixed asset schedules, 1099’s, and business personal property taxes. Like her internship at EKS&H, working at Cline & Associates is equally enjoyable and rewarding. Each day working at Cline & Associates brings something new and exciting for her to learn.
Sara earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accountancy concurrently at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After graduation, Sara wasted no time gaining ground on taking the CPA exam. She has passed three parts, and will take her last part in February 2012.
Sara grew up on a small farm in Parker, Colorado. She enjoys going to Broncos and Rockies games and playing golf in her spare time. If Sara was not in the accounting field, she would be a high school math teacher. Coming from a family full of teachers, education is a passion and natural talent of hers. Sara tutors high school math whenever she can and becomes very excited for her students when they understand a difficult math concept.
